Sandor was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina,
and raised in the world of
dance & art. Early in his career,
he performed with various productions
such as the musicals Me and My Girl and
42nd Street, and was also featured in
the Warner Brothers film Mambo Kings.
Once involved with Tango, Sandor danced
in highly successful productions touring
London, Japan, Mexico and Canada. He was
featured in Viva Tango at both the Dunes
& Aladdin Hotels in Las Vegas, and
was awarded 1st Place honors in Theatre
Arts at the '93 Emerald Ball, '93 Nevada
Star Ball, and Extravaganza Northwest
Dance Competitions. Sandor was a principal
dancer in the original cast of the Broadway/London
hit show Forever Tango, nominated in 1997
for the Tony Award, Best Choreography.
In 1999 he choreographed and danced in
: Latin Spectacular at the Hollywood Bowl,
featuring the Los Angeles Philharmonic,
broadcast live on UPN; the European film
Marlene, depicting the life of Marlene
Dietrich; and the PBS TV Special Tango
Magic. In 2002 he was featured in Passions
Latines, with world-renowned vocalist
Julia Migenes, at the Olympia Theatre
in Paris.
Parissa, born Persian, spent most of her
early childhood in the south of France.
Eventually the San Francisco Bay Area
became her home, and it was during this
time that she started performing pre-pointe
ballet, tap, and jazz in various theatrical
productions. After relocating to southern
California to pursue her acting career,
she discovered her talents for ballroom
dance. She has been featured dancing all
styles of Latin, Swing, Smooth, Theatre
Arts, and Argentine Tango. She has been
featured dancing Salsa on the WB's Charmed,
HBO's Six Feet Under, and E!'s Latin Image
Awards. She is also a featured model &
dancer in a national ad campaign for Wrigley's
Doublemint Gum. Parissa has worked with
Antonio Banderas as his Tango and Ballroom
coach to prepare him for the movie Take
the Lead. Together, Sandor & Parissa
have performed in countless television,
film, and theatrical productions worldwide.
